Position Overview
Perform septic tank repairs and installations, maintain equipment, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairs and Installations: Diagnose, repair, and install residential and commercial septic systems, ensuring proper function and compliance.
- Inspections: Conduct system inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment, reporting issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with clients, addressing questions and concerns.
- Recordkeeping: Log services, work orders, and compliance details accurately.
- Additional Tasks: Attend training, and handle on-call shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in septic system repair/installation or similar trade.
- Knowledge of septic systems and local regulations.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, and ability to pass background/drug screenings.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Preffered:
- Septic system certification.
- Experience with excavation or heavy equipment operation.
Work Environment:
Outdoor work in various weather conditions, with exposure to odors and chemicals. Flexible hours, including weekends/evenings and on-call shifts.
